Air Fryer Halibut With Pesto turns out tender, flaky, and so flavorful. It's incredibly quick and easy to make for a healthy dinner using just 2 ingredients! Can't beat that!
3tablespoonPesto, use your favorite store-bought pesto, or make your own
Instructions
Remove the halibut fillets from the fridge and set them on the counter to come to room temperate for about 20 minutes.
Pat the fish dry using a paper towel. Using a sharp knife, score the top about 1 inch apart in order for the pesto to get in the grooves, this is optional.
Split the pesto in half and rub all over each of the fillets.
Carefully place the fillets on the air fryer basket.

Notes
TIPS
Removing the filets from the fridge and allowing them to come to room temperature before cooking will create a more even cook, and leave you with a juicy filet! I like to keep it out for at least 20-30 minutes.
Stay close to the air fryer as the time is near the end to check the temperature of the fillets.
Keep the skin on the fish filets to keep them moist while cooking.
VARIATIONS
Replace pesto with another sauce or spices. Like, lemon garlic and herb sauce, seafood seasoning, Old Bay, Garlic powder, Fresh herbs, etc.
STORAGE
Once cooked, store in the fridge in an airtight container and eat within 2 days.
HOW TO REHEAT
Reheat the fillets in the air fryer at 325F until warmed through, about 3-5 minutes.
