This is my go-to chewy Easy Pizza Dough recipe that I love using every time I make one of my homemade pizza recipes. It has served as my tried and true chewy Pizza Dough Recipe with yeast, and it turns out perfect every time. The best part is how easy it is to make, especially while running around after little ones or running out to the beach to gather more seafood.
Making pizza dough with yeast is essential to making a chewy, fluffy pizza crust that is perfect for any topping, especially in all my Seafood pizza recipes!

I was taught how to make this dough by my mom. Growing up in Lebanon, we always had fresh Lebanese pizzas on a regular basis, like Zaatar, a super cheesy one, and our favorite Lebanese meat topping - three of the most popular in Lebanese cuisine.
After a few years of me trying various recipes, I finally called my mom to ask how do I make my own pizza dough. Hers was by far the best. So, I'm glad she was ready to help because this is the best pizza dough with minimal effort!
So, let's dig in!

How do I make my own pizza dough?
Making your own pizza dough is simple, and requires very few ingredients. You will need yeast, all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, olive oil, and warm water. Mix a little bit of warm water, yeast, sugar, and a bit of flour and let rise. Then pour the yeast mixture to the flour, oil, and salt and mix to combine. Let rise, then divide and roll out!
Now, I'm the biggest fan of make-ahead meals and often triple recipes to freeze some for later. But I'm also a big fan of making homemade meals that are healthy for my family. So, in true fashion, I typically double this recipe and freeze some for later!
How to freeze pizza dough
After mixing the pizza dough and letting it rise, divide it into even rounds of dough. On a sheet of plastic wrap, lightly spray with oil and sprinkle a generous amount of flour. Place a ball of dough on top and wrap the plastic. Place in a ziploc bag and store in the freezer for a few months.
How long does this recipe take
Making your dough typically takes a while for rising time. This recipe is no different. Expect to spend at least an hour and 40 minutes on resting time, the mixing part is just as easy as waiting for the rise!
