My absolute favorite way to have this frosting is on decadent chocolate cupcakes!
Level up your homemade frosting recipe with this Tahini Frosting that’s unique and so darn good! It makes a frosting on cake and one of the best chocolate cupcake topping!

This Tahini Cream Cheese Frosting tastes similar to what you would expect from a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, except with tahini. Tahini is made from sesame seeds and is used on various Mediterranean dishes.
I grew up with tahini being used on both sweet and savory dishes. It’s so versatille, and it sure makes a out of this world cupcake topping.

I’m so glad I made extra cupcakes, because I stuck them in the freezer and take them out when I need a sweet tahini fix.
Yes…It may be somewhat of a daily occurance, but this frosting is on the healthier end and a homemade frosting recipe that I happened to be obsessed with, so how can I stay away?!
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
