Baked brie is one of my absolute favorite appetizers to serve guests. This air fryer brie takes half the time than baking in the oven, and cooks to melted cheesy perfection!

AIR FRYER BRIE is the ultimate appetizer!
Guys, air fryer baked brie is the shizz, and your guests will devour it! I have been making baked brie for years. Getting creative with the toppings every time. Though, I have a few rules when it comes to making a good brie for guests, and my air fryer is always here to help make the process even faster.
The toppings are what sets it apart, I use fresh fruit for a pop of flavor, nuts for a crunch, fresh herbs, and a drizzle of honey for added sweetness. If you have a local bee farm near you, grab some honey there, otherwise, go for this honey.
I cook in my air fryer daily. Anything from this brie, to air frying frozen fish fillets, to veggies, like this air fryer parsnips, or this air fryer butternut squash. It's fast, easy, and almost always comes out perfectly cooked. All it takes is to adjust the temperature and time properly, from what you currently use on the oven.
What Kind Of Brie To Use
For baked brie, it's best to use a wheel of brie that is ripe but still firm to the touch. Look for a brie that is labeled as "double or triple cream." I'm using imported French double cream brie. The wheel is 1.32 lbs (600 g). Air fryer camembert will also work.
The Toppings
There is a hard rule for what to top baked brie with in my book. Brie has a strong flavor and to balance that I use, fresh berries, something crunchy, something sweet, and fresh herbs. After resting dozens of various toppings, this is the balance that worked best.
Fresh Strawberries. Strawberries add a much needed burst of sweet flavor.
Pecans. I go for salted and roasted to add a depth of flavor and salt.
Raw Honey. A heavy drizzle of honey is a must on baked brie. Always!
Fresh Rosemary sprigs. I like to use fresh rosemary that I grow. Check for other herbs to use below. The rosemary is baked with the brie, and crushed to sprinkle on top before serving.
Salt is optional if you use unsalted pecans.
How to Make Air Fryer Baked Brie
After you've gathered the above ingredients, remove the wheel of brie from its original packaging.
- Line an air fryer basket with parchment paper and place the wheel of brie on top.
- Top the brie with sliced strawberries, roughly chopped pecans and rosemary sprigs.
- Bake in the air fryer at 350℉ (175℃) for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and crush the rosemary between your fingers and sprinkle all over the top. Finish the baked brie with a heavy drizzle of honey.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with fresh baked bread, baguette, or crackers.
My Best Tips for Making Air Fryer Brie
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. I like to use this unbleached parchment.
- Be careful not to overcook it. It will end up a mess, and not as presentable. But hey, it's still going to be delicious.
- Follow the toppings rule of: something sweet, something crunchy, honey, and fresh herbs to have a well balanced baked brie.
Variations & Subs
- BRIE: Air fried camembert works for this recipe as well. Just know the flavor will differ slightly.
- STRAWBERRIES: Though strawberries are my favorite to use, I also favor blueberries, figs, or apples.
- ROSEMARY: Fresh thyme or mint work great with the rest of the flavors. For more of a rosemary flavor, don't bake it. Chop it and sprinkle it on top before serving.
- PECANS: When substituting roasted and salted pecans for raw, sprinkle extra salt over the top of the brie prior to serving. Alternatively, you can use pistachios, cashews or almond slices. I wouldn't use whole almonds.
- WANT TO BAKE IT INSTEAD? Place it on a baking dish, bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.

Made this for my birthday dinner party. Let's talk about how delicious it was! I did use a hot honey which added a touch of spice. I was looking forward to leftovers the next day. Sadly, there were none as everyone gobbled it up!! Definitely going to make it again and again!!
